The article “Superman and me” is wrote with Narrative Nonfiction by Sherman Alexie. The author tells a story about the experience of learning reading and getting success. He tries to use this article to persuade everyone who wants to be successful keeping work hard to achieve goals and save their own life. Sherman Alexie use saving life in the article for many times and it’s a connection with the superman. In the usual view, superman always saves people for dangerous. In the story, the author saved himself as same as superman, and he also concerns about the children in India. By repeating “the saving” again and again with his emotional statements, he brings us a inspirational story about him and “superman”. By this story, I also learned much about the rhetoric (repeating) and how to make sentence more encouraging.
